The Measure Was Personal
The master in this parable did not distribute talents randomly, nor did he give everyone the same amount. He looked at each servant — their character, their capacity, their readiness — and gave accordingly. This is not a story about inequality. It is a story about intimate knowledge. God does not compare you to anyone else. He sees you, knows you, and entrusts to you precisely what you are able to carry.
You are not behind. You are not less. You have been given exactly what you were made to steward.
The Parable
Three Servants. One Standard.
Each received according to their ability — the measure was personal, not equal.
Given to the one with the greatest capacity. He doubled what he was entrusted with — not because he had more, but because he was faithful with what he had.
Given to the one with measured ability. He too doubled his portion. The master's praise was identical — not scaled to the amount, but to the faithfulness.
Given to the one with the least capacity. The gift was smaller — but it was still a gift. The failure was not in receiving little. It was in doing nothing with it.
What has been entrusted to you?
You don't need someone else's gifts, someone else's platform, or someone else's calling. You need only to be faithful with what is already in your hands. The question is not how much — it is what will you do with it.
